    I have tried and it doesn't work, it boots up showed its updating firmware than i took out the card but it shows in japanese that there are no maps in SSD card and it doesn't let me change any options, you said don't include any folders but you have two folders? i tried all combination of files and when i copied all files and folders it only then try to update the firmware, but now when i reinsert it it doesn't work at all .

    i formatted the card and copied all combinations... there are two folders plus a vns file... which ones to copy? plus oreder of the files?
    i did copy it but nothing happens .. i have nsct w61 ... plz help me at ans.ciit@gmail.com

    Hi. Any luck on the unlock? I created fat32 partition on card and copied the files to sd card. Sd card now has two folders and one file. Nothing happens when i insert the card. Some message in japanese with SD written in between. The lid is not closing now

    JazakAllah u khairan... it worked... I wasn't able to use my player for months because of it... you just have to format your sd card as fat32 and copy 1 file and both folders as they are...

      Which files does one have to copy for it to work. I have tried and nothing is working out. I have a NSCT-W61 car radio
